Our History:
The Chamber was established in 1993 by local entrepreneurs recognizing the importance of uniting the business community, the Chamber has since been steadfast in providing assistance to our expanding businesses and embracing new members. Collaborating with the Economic Development Advisory Committee and other township committees, the chamber of Commerce works towards elevating and advocating for our town and businesses to ensure a bright and successful future. Come be a part of our journey.
Accomplishments:
The Chamber of Commerce funded the beautiful engraved “Welcome to Pequannock Township” signs on Route 23.
The signs were designed to welcome visitors to our town and offer an opportunity for business sponsors to place their logo on the designated space on each sign. The seven strategically placed signs are located at all entrances to the town. This project was completed in conjunction with the Pequannock Township Historical District Commission.
The Chamber along with the Pequannock Rotary and Atlantic Stewardship Bank provided the two town clocks.
— one located at “The Point” and the other located across the street from Scanlan’s Funeral Home.
The Chamber proudly supports and sponsors the Pequannock Township High School "Future Business Leaders of America". The FBLA fundraisers are to cover the cost for annual state leadership conferences and other events including "The Polar Express & The Polar Plunge".
The Chamber will be sponsoring a "Shop the Town" event showcasing our local businesses offering discounts on a designated shopping day.
The Chambers' support of the community creates many worthwhile projects, opportunities, programs and events all in the interest of promoting our businesses for future prosperity.
