Our Story:
The Chamber was formed in 1993 by a group of local business men and women who saw a need to bring the business community together. The chamber continues to offer support for our growing businesses and in welcoming new business members. The Chamber of Commerce partners with many township committee's to develop ways to enhance and promote our town and businesses for a positive and prosperous future. Join us.
Accomplishments:
The Chamber of Commerce funded the beautiful engraved “Welcome to Pequannock Township” signs on Route 23.
The signs were designed to welcome visitors to our town and offer an opportunity for business sponsors to place their logo on the designated space on each sign. The seven strategically placed signs are located at all entrances to the town. This project was completed in conjunction with the Pequannock Township Historical District Commission.
The Chamber provided the “Pequannock Township” banners and the American flags seen on many of the light poles lining Newark Pompton Turnpike. A business chamber member may either put their logo on the bottom of the Pequannock Township banner, or may choose to list their business on a plaque attached to an American flag.
The Chamber along with the Pequannock Rotary and Atlantic Stewardship Bank provided the two town clocks.
— one located at “The Point” and the other located across the street from Scanlan’s Funeral Home.
The Chamber Provides the annual Pequannock Street Festival / Town Fair. Residents look forward to the live music, fun, Great food and over 100 local businesses and vendors. Members enjoy a discounted booth space, booth location upgrade and are listed on the Festival map. The Street Festival is a perfect opportunity to advertise and network your business directly with the public. The event brings in over 10,000 people.
The Chambers' support of the community creates many worthwhile projects, opportunities, programs and events all in the interest of promoting our businesses for future prosperity.
